History of Zhenzhong
 
1958: The founding of Shenyang Refractory Factory, the predecessor of Zhenzhong - The first manufacturer of electro-fused zirconia corundum in China.
 
1987: On November 4th, SRF¡¯s Zhengzhou Branch broke ground.
 
1988: On April 22nd, SRF Zhengzhou Branch production trial successfully completed.
 
1990: Name change to Zhengzhou Zhenzhong Electro-Fused Refractory Factory.
 
1991: Successful completion of search and development of desilicate zirconia product, filling the domestic gap in this field.
Our company was named ¡°Henan Province Level One Advanced Enterprise¡± (Level one being the highest grade) by the provincial government.
 
1993: Zhengzhou Zhenzhong Industrial Group Co. was founded, with its 16 entities ranging from our mainstream electro-fused refractory productions to Logistics Company to Food Processing and Production Company.
 
On June 8th, Li Chang Chun, (current member of Standing Committee of Political Bureau, the CPC Central Committee, and former secretary of Henan provincial party committee) inspected our company, and wrote:¡±Strive to make Zhenzhong a star enterprise, joining the ranks of China¡¯s Best Township-Enterprise.¡±
 
1994: Reform into a Joint-Stock company.
¡°Method of producing zirconium dioxide by electro-fusion ball-blowing¡± was given National Inventive Paten.
Awarded certificate for ¡°TQC (Total Quality Control) Qualified Enterprise¡± by China Department of Agriculture.
 
1997: Named ¡°Second Tire Large Township Enterprise¡± by China Department of Agriculture.
 
2001: Successful completion of research and development of Electro-cast Calcium Zirconate, and was given National Inventive Patent.
Successful completion of research and development of ¡°Founding casting non-oxidate containing plate shape material compound zirconium boule refractory brick and production method thereof¡±, and was given national Inventive Patent.
Named ¡°Advanced and New Technological Enterprise¡±
 
2002: Sucessful completion of research and development of ¡°Production method of electric melting magnesium-aluminium-zirconium synthetic material¡±, and was given national inventive Patent.
       Successful completion of research and development of ¡°Electric melting production method of silicon micropowder and zirconium compound silicon micropowder¡±, and was awarded national inventive patent.
       Successful completion of research and development of ¡°Calcium stabilizing zirconia and electric melting producing method thereof¡±, and was awarded national inventive patent. Products in this series with Magnesium and Yttrium stabilizer were put into production as well.
 
2003: Successful completion of research and development of ¡°Process for producing electric smelting zirconium silicate powder¡±, and was awarded national inventive patent.
Named ¡°Reliable Enterprise¡± and ¡°Zhengzhou City Inventive Patent Model Enterprise¡±.
 
2004: High Purity Electro-Fused Zirconia was developed, Zirconium concentration reaches 99.5%, applied for national inventive patent.
 
2005: High Purity, High Activity and High Specific Surface Electro-fused Zirconia was developed, such is a breakthrough for the practical applications of Electro-Fused Zirconia in industries such as advanced pigment production (ie. deep praseodymium yellow, zirconium iron pink) and structural ceramics.
 
2006: Wear-Resistant Bricks for Metallurgical Industry was developed and put to production, filling the domestic gap in this field. This product is exported to over ten countries and regions including the US, Korea and Malaysia.
 
2007: Electro-Cast Alumina ¦Â Corundum product was developed and put to production, and was sold to both domestic and international market.
 
2008: Electro-Cast Alumina ¦Á Corundum product was developed, filling the domestic gap in this field.
